I can’t believe it is the last week of school!!! Since graduation is this week we will not be attending on Tuesday, June 1st. I hope everyone has a great summer and I am so proud of all of my students!!! Good luck next year!!

Monday: We will be doing finger painting and playing with a number game. The students will also get the chance to use the computers and hopefully play outside.

Tuesday: We will be celebrating the 100th day of school that all of the preschool students have attended! We will also be making ocean bracelets and playing with play dough. The students will be making sun catchers using blank CDs.

Wednesday: We will be making an ocean scene and finding ocean animals in blue shaving cream. The students will get to decorate flower plants and play some ABC games as well.

Thursday: GRADUATION DAY!!! The students will be spending the day getting ready for graduation and celebrating. Those students that will still be attending preschool next year will be having a movie day and will be able to see their friends graduate.

Friday: This will be our last day of class. We will be having a field day! We will hopefully spend the day outside playing different outside games.

School is almost over and it is so strange to think that it is coming to an end! The students have grown so much and I am very proud of them. We are continuing our ocean unit next week. We have a lot of fun things planned for them to do. Here are the plans for next week...

Monday: Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students. We will be focusing on fine motor activities as well as reviewing our ABC's.

Tuesday: Our theme for the day is fish. We will be threading paper fish to practice some fine motor skills and we also do a fish art project. The students will get to play a seashell matching game as well as beach ball number game.

Wednesday: The students will be making paper plate jellyfish and playing with play dough. They will also get to make a book about the ocean that they can read to you. We will get to make rubbings of our names as well.

Thursday: We will be putting the ocean in a bottle and taking it home to share with you. The students will get to play in the sensory table, paint a seashell, and play a fishing game.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. We will work more on the ocean and review our letters and numbers.

It is a new month and we are ready for a new theme. We are going to be working on an ocean unit. Our transportation unit went well but it is time to move on to something new. This is our last full month before the end of the year! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! Here are our plans for next week...

Monday: Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students. The class will get the chance to work on their fine motor skills and play on the computer.

Tuesday: The class will make starfish with oatmeal, and play a starfish letter game. They will get to play in the sensory table and complete a flower activity.

Wednesday: The students will be completing a crab cut and paste, playing a number recognition game, and playing with file folder games.

Thursday: We will be using water colors to paint whales and painting with pudding. The students will be cutting out waves and playing with play dough.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. We will be reviewing our letters and numbers as well.

The end of the year is approaching fast! The students are really enjoying the sunny days. This will be our last week of our transportation unit. Here are our plans for the week...

Monday: Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students. They will get to work on their fine motor skills.

Tuesday: The students will be making a hot air balloon along with reviewing their shapes. They will get to make a butterfly, a transportation collage and work with play dough.

Wednesday: We will make a helicopter cut and paste, play shape BINGO, and also play a transportation game. The students will get to work in the sensory table with water.

Thursday: Students will be making and decorating ice skates. They will also get to play a number hop scotch game, easel paint, and make umbrellas.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. They will get to work on the computers and play some ABC games.

Ms. Renata’s last day is today… we are going to miss her a lot. For the rest of the year Ms. Jennifer Krauss will be filling in for her. We are happy to have her with us. Here are our plans for the week…

Monday: We will be working on letter and number recognition. We will also be working with play dough and the computer. Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students.

Tuesday: The students will be completing a bike cut and paste activity and putting a transportation book together. They will also get to paint with fake flowers and work with shaving cream.

Wednesday: The class will be making bumble bees and also will paint with their feet. They will also play a clue game and will work with play dough.

Thursday: We will be completing a space shuttle connect the dots and an outer space scene using tin foil. The students will also be making trees with popcorn blossoms for Earth Day.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. We also will be working on the computers and reviewing the different types of transportation we have talked about.

I can’t believe we are almost half way through April! We have been having a lot of fun learning about different forms of transportation. The students are really looking forward to going to the fire station. Here are our plans for the week…

Monday: The students will get the chance to paint together on a large piece of paper. They will also get the chance to play a game of categories and work on the computer.

Tuesday: We will be taking our trip to the fire station.

Wednesday: Our class will be making a train cut and paste craft. They will also get to play with magnet games and file folder games. We will be doing a safety activity as a review from the fire station trip. We will also be making rain drop art.

Thursday: We will be making an airplane cut and paste activity and also a sun flower craft. The students will get the chance to work with play dough and do a friendship activity.

Friday: The students will get to make a book on different vehicles and play a game on categories. Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students and they will also get the chance to work on the computers.

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break! I can’t believe it is April! We are going to be learning about all different forms of transportation this month. Please make sure to send in the permission slips for the fire station field trip. Here are the plans for the week…

Monday: Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students. The students will get the chance to do some sensory activities and will get to use the computer. We will be introducing the new unit to the students as well.

Tuesday: If the weather is nice we will go on a walk to look at different signs that our outside of the school. The students will be making stop signs and yield signs and working with shaving cream. They will get to paint with toy cars and work on the categorizing things into the different seasons.

Wednesday: We will be making a truck cut and paste and making a class book on trucks. The students will get to play with the magnet games or with some file folder games. We will also get the chance to talk about our upcoming trip to the fire station.

Thursday: We are going to take the class in shifts to look at a real car and hopefully a bus up close. The students will make a bus cut and paste project, play in the sensory table and talk about the parts of a car that they saw.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with students. The students will work on the computer and we will also review the different things we learned during the week.

It finally feels like Spring but I don't think it is going to last long! :( I can't believe next week is our last week before Spring Break! We have learned so much this year and it feels like it is going by so quickly. I am very proud of the progress everyone has made! Next week we will be finishing up our nursery rhyme unit and working on the last letter of the alphabet, Z. Here are our plans...

Monday: The students will be making musical instruments with paper plates and beans. They will also get the chance to work on the computer and play in the sensory table. Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students as well.

Tuesday: The class will be tracing the letter Z, working on a Jack be Nimble activity, and mixing paint. Since Spring will have officially started, we will be making butterflies to hang in the room.

Wednesday: Students will get the chance to do a Jack and Jill color, cut, and paste activity. They will also make flowers with their hand prints and do a Z cut and paste. The students will get the chance to work with play dough as well.

Thursday: We will be making Little Boy Blue puppets, creating zany art, and working with water in the sensory table. The students will also get the chance to review their alphabet with a bean bag toss game.

Friday: We will be painting on the easel, working with play dough, and working on the computer. Ms. Jacki will be in to work with students as well.

We had a lot of fun this week working on nursery rhymes and the letter X. The students even got to make their own X-rays!!! Next week we will be working on the letter Y and learning some more nursery rhymes. Here are the plans for next week...

Monday: We will introduce the letter Y, play with playdough, and work on the computers. Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students.

Tuesday: The students will be working on Hey Diddle Diddle and tracing the letter Y. They will also get to play nursery rhyme BINGO and work in the sensory table.

Wednesday: The class will be making a Little Miss Muffet activity and a Saint Patrick's Day collage. They will also get to play a bean bag toss ABC game and work on Y words.

Thursday: Students will get to make Three Little Kitten puppets and play an ABC game. They will also make a mosaic flower and work with playdough.

Friday: We will be viewing what we have learned through out the week. Ms. Jacki will be here to work with the students as well.

Our nursery rhyme unit started off great this week. The students are really excited to learn new ones and hear ones that they knew already. The alphabet is coming to a close soon. Next week is letter X! This year is going by fast. Spring is on its way! Here are the plans for next week…

Monday: We will be introducing the letter X and reviewing the nursery rhymes we have already been introduced to. Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students as well as Ms. Kari.

Tuesday: The students will trace the letter X, play nursery rhyme BINGO, and make a giant rainbow for the bulletin board in the hallway. The students will also get to make a lamb from the nursery rhyme, Mary had a Little Lamb.

Wednesday: Students will get the chance to make some twinkling stars from the nursery rhyme Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. They will be making an X-ray of their hand, work in the sensory table, and play an ABC matching game.

Thursday: We will be making Old King Cole crowns, playing ABC mystery, and making a fruit loops rainbow. The students will also make a pot of gold to go with our rainbow bulletin board.

Friday: No school due to parent/teacher conferences.

Spring is on its way...I hope! March is here and we are starting our unit on nursery rhymes. We are also going to be finishing the alphabet this month! The school year is flying by and we are having a great time learning new things and playing with new friends. Here are our plans for next week...

Monday: Casimir Pulaski Day... No School

Tuesday: We are going to be introducing the game nursery rhyme BINGO. The students will be making a black sheep from the nursery rhyme “Baa Baa Black Sheep”. We will also be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with a Cat in the Hat art project. We will also be tracing the letter W.

Wednesday: The students will be making an art project from the nursery rhyme, “Humpty Dumpty”. They will be playing an egg ABC game, exploring in the water table, and working with magnets.

Thursday: The class will make an art project based on “Hickory Dickory Dock”. They will also do a W cut and paste activity. The students will also get to finger paint and work with shaving cream.

Friday: We will be reviewing the letter W and going over the nursery rhymes we have already learned. Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students and they will get the chance to work on the computers and in the art area.

We had a great week going over some more shapes and working on the letter U. We have a lot of fun things planned for next week. We will be working on more shapes and and the letter V. Here are our plans for next week...

Monday: We will be introducing the letter V. The students will get the chance to work on the computers, in the art area, and they will get to play in the sensory table. Ms. Shelly will be in to work with the students as well.

Tuesday: We will be talking about the star shape today. The students will get glitter paint some stars. They will trace their letter V and work on shape stencils. They will also get to play some shape games and work in the sensory table.

Wednesday: The students will get to do a line activity and paint with yarn. They will also complete their V cut and paste activity and work with shaving cream.

Thursday: The students will play an ABC game, do an activity with zig zags, play with play dough, and do some yarn looping with the letter V. Spring pictures will be taking place today.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be here to work with the students. We will be reviewing all of the shapes we have learned and will be reviewing the letter V. The students will also get the chance to work on the computers and in the art area.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day weekend! Sorry for the late post. This week we will be working on the letter U and be going over some new shapes. We will review some of our letters and shapes we have already worked on. Here are our plans for the week...

Monday: No School

Tuesday: The students will be making triangle sailboats and an umbrella. They will play an ABC game and trace the letter U.

Wednesday: The students will be lacing diamonds to make a kite. They will also get the chance to decorate diamonds. They will get to practice U words and play in the sensory table.

Thursday: Students will make an underwater scene, decorate shamrocks, and play with playdough. The students will also get the chance to practice writing their names, numbers, and drawing shapes.

Friday:We will be reviewing the letter U and the different shapes we have learned. Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students.

The students are getting excited for our Valentines Day party! We are working hard on our shape unit and are almost done with alphabet! This school year is flying by and the students are having a great time. Next week we will be working on the letter T. We will be talking about squares and rectangles. We will be having our Valentines Day party on Thursday. Here are our plans for next week...

Monday: We will be introducing the letter T and playing shape bingo. The students will get the chance to work in the art area and on the computers. They will also work in the sensory table. Ms. Shelly will be here to work with the students.

Tuesday: The students will be working on squares by making a square mosaic. They will complete their letter T page and make a Valentines bag. We will also practice for the vision and hearing test.

Wednesday:Students will cut and decorate a rectangle they will get to finger paint different shapes. We will go over different words that start with T and work in the sensory table.

Thursday: This is the day of our Valentines Day party. The party starts at 10:30. If you are a parent that was asked to help please come at that time. We will be playing different Valentines Day games, making a craft, and also making our own snack for the day.

Friday: Friday we will go over the different shapes we have talked about. We will also review the letter T. The students will get the chance to work on the computers and in the art area. Ms. Jacki will be here to work with the students.

Thursday: We will be working on ovals. We will also practice for the vision and hearing test. The students will work on words that start with S.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. We will review the letter S, circles, and ovals. The students will also get the chance to play on the computers and work in the art area.

Learning about forest animals is a lot of fun! We also got to learn about the letter Q. The students are really loving our unit on animals. I can't believe we are almost done with our alphabet! Next week we will be working on the letter R and talking about house pets. Here are our plans for next week...

Tuesday: The students will be working on a dog cut and paste activity. They will trace their letter R and practice for vision and hearing. The students will also make play dough snowmen.

Wednesday:The students will do a cat coloring activity and an early Valentines day project. They will learn different R words and practice with the magnet boards.

Thursday: We will be making a tissue paper fish and an underwater scene. We will also be reviewing all the types of animals we talked about and working in the sensory table.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be here to work with the students. We will review the letter R and work on animals. The students will get the chance to work on the computer as well.

We had another wonderful week at school. The class had a great time learning about zoo animals and the letter P. next week we will working on forest animals and the letter Q. Here are the plans for next week...

Monday: No School

Tuesday: We will be practicing vision and hearing. The students will be making a raccoon mask.. Students will also get the chance to play alphabet BINGO and play with play dough.

Wednesday:We will be doing a bear cut and paste activity. We will also put together a forest scene. The students will go on a bear hunt and trace their letter Q.

Thursday: We will make a class quilt and work on a deer cut and paste activity. The students will also paint with q-tips and work on puzzles.

Friday: Ms. Jacki will be in to work with the students. We will play in the sensory table, the art area, and on the computers. The students will also get the chance to play a color game.

We survived our first week back even with all of the snow! Our animal unit is going well. The students really know their animals. We are busy finishing our alphabet. Next week we will be working on the letter P. Our animal theme will be on zoo animals. Here are the plans for next week.

Monday: We will introduce the letter P and our theme for the week, zoo animals. The students will work on shapes and colors, letter matching, and some fine motor skills. Students will also have the chance to play on the computer. Ms. Shelly will be here to work with the students.

Tuesday: The students will make a cut and paste monkey, trace their letter P, and play a guess the animal game. The students will also make their own zoo on paper.

Wednesday: Students are going to paint stripes on zebras, play an animal sound game, and learn different words that start with P. They will also get to easel paint.

Thursday: The students will make an elephant puppet and review the letters we have learned so far. They will also make pasta letter P's and get to work in the sensory table with snow or water.

Friday: The students will be working on some patterning. They will also get to work in the art area and on the computers. Ms. Jacki will be here to work with the students.
